Shell Beach HOA has started a Closed Group page on Facebook and HOA Members are invited to join!

Simply search for "Shell Beach HOA" on Facebook, go to the page and request to be added to the group. Once you've been added, you'll be able to post and share information of interest to your neighbors.

We've created this page to enable everyone in our community to share news, ask their neighbors for recommendations for service providers, offer to babysit or pet sit, note a coyote or bobcat sighting -- whatever you think others might want to know. All we ask is that you keep it clean and friendly.

The Shell Beach HOA Board will also post updates and news of interest to residents, and encourage your participation.

FAQs

How much are Shell Beach HOA dues and when are they due?
Dues are $125 annually and are due in the 1st quarter of each year.  The HOA Treasurer will send a notice to members via their member email on file and/or U.S. Mail (if not already reconciled via the email notification).

Are residents able to pay dues online or how can they be paid?
Currently, billing/invoices will be sent to members by email (if on file) via Square (tm) allowing for members to have the option to pay electronically (with a small fee charged to the HOA by Square services). However, members may always choose to pay without a fee by paying with check or money order, which must then be mailed.  Such dues must be mailed to the HOA mailbox: P. O. Box 128, Little Elm Texas 75068. Please note: For those members who do not have a valid email on file, billing/invoices will be sent to the physical address on file with Denton County. 

How do I receive notifications of member meetings?
Member meeting notifications are sent via member’s address (e-mail, telephone, and/or physical
address) last appearing on the books of the Association.

How do I volunteer for Committee membership or a Board position?
Email ShellBeachHOA@gmail.com to advise the Board of your interest. 

Am I able to view Bylaws and other HOA documents?
Yes, they are on the this website under the Members tab.

Are there fees associated with construction plans reviewed by the Architectural Committee?​

Yes. please see the Architectural Control section of the Amended Restirictions on Shell Beach Subdivision for details. Smaller projects (such as fence or shed replacement/construction) now only require a $45 fee (instead of $90) for plan review, whereas new  home construction will remain $90. 

How often and when does trash pickup occur?
Trash and recycling are picked up once a week on Monday mornings.  Bulk trash pickup occurs every other Wednesday.  Click on the following link for the bulk trash pickup schedule.
